POLLY’S Howick Village Market Pizza
When it comes to pizza, we prefer the crispiest base possible and we find KOHKOZ Pita Breads (Kohkoz authentic Lebanese Foods, Howick Village Market) make the perfect pizza bases.
For best results use a pizza tray with holes, allowing for even cooking. Fan Oven 180 deg.
Ingredients:
Pizza base of your choice – photo shows KOHKOZ Pita Breads, use one whole pita bread per pizza.
KOHKOZ For the Love of Garlic Sauce (Toum) or your favourite tomato pasta sauce, hummus, pesto sauce etc
Protein of your choice – cooked - tofu, chicken, shrimps, salami,
Vegetables – thinly sliced courgettes/sliced cooked artichokes/tomatoes.
Cheese – Edam, aged cheddar, blue, camembert, brie, creamy goat
MIKE’S Marinated Shiitake Mushrooms – original/chilli/smokey/smokey chilli – your choice
Sauce – we love sauce on pizzas, so we have it top and bottom – For the Shrimp Pizza, we mixed up one teaspoon of sesame oil, Timari, mayonnaise, Siracha Chilli Sauce and ½- 1 teaspoon MIKE’S Life Changing All Purpose Seasoning Mix, and 1 Tablespoon of water – mix well, this is to be drizzled over pizza toppings.
Spritz Olive oil sparingly over pizza. Bake until cheese is melted, and pizza base is crisp.
Rest when out of oven for a couple of minutes, transfer to board and slice.
ENJOY with a green salad of your choice.
